Julia K. Steere

Julia is an Associate at MHR Lewis and practices in the areas of corporate law, real estate, and tax and estate planning. Julia represents international and domestic clients in all aspects of the lifecycle of a business – from the formation and startup phase, throughout the funding stages, growth and scaling up, and ultimately through their disposition. Julia's private clients practice focuses on international tax and succession planning, including trust and foundation strategy and structuring. One important aspect of Julia's international private clients practice is her work on the formation and maintenance of private trust companies, which entails working closely with family offices around the world.

Prior to joining MHR Lewis, Julia worked at a boutique civil litigation firm representing defendants in a variety of professional liability matters. During law school, Julia clerked for the Honorable Alfred V. Covello in the United States District Court, District of Connecticut.

Julia received her B.A. in legal studies from Quinnipiac University in 2016, and her J.D. from the University of Connecticut in 2019. She is admitted to practice in Connecticut.
